Established in 1969, Dean Forge is situated in Dean Prior, Buckfastleigh and also in Marsh Barton, Exeter, near Dartmoor National Park. Keen to keep their surroundings beautiful, the Dean Forge engineers are introducing additional eco-efficient stoves to the market. These include the Woodbury range, some of which we stock here at N.E. Stoves.

The Woodbury range is Ecodesign Ready and is designed to be economical and affordable – a wood burning or multi-fuel stove. The Woodbury Clearburn Slimline is a highly efficient wood burning stove which is stylish and elegant whilst also being robust. The perfect addition to a modern or more traditional home. This stove is approved for use in smoke control areas and features primary and secondary air controls.

Also available is The Dartmoor 8 wood or multi-fuel stove. This stove is a perfect choice for rooms with larger fireplaces as it boasts a wide glass door to provide a clear view of the flames, which is only enhanced by the Clearburn technology. Heat protection plates can be added to the rear and bottom of the stove to ensure extra safety for you and your home. 

The clearburn technology features a preheated air wash system, designed to heat the secondary air to a high temperature before it’s drawn over the glass. Preheated air then drives unburnt gasses back into the fire, these gasses combined with the hot air causes combustion over the glass. This burns more fuel particles and deposits off the glass and increases efficiency and also gives a clearer view of the fire. Both the Dartmoor and Woodbury Stoves that we stock feature this Clearburn technology.
